Started in 2010, Carmatech Engineering Inc. (CEI) is a mechanical engineering and product design company that utilizes engineering fundamentals to develop products under the CEI label. Since July of 2010 CEI has been working to refine and perfect the SAR12/ SAR12C for paintballers everywhere. Designed in house by Carmatech Managing Director, these specialist markers are made and assembled in small batches almost to order. Every marker is tested for consistency and ranged in using Carmatechs own dedicated Supremacy paintball scope. Carmatech is also very well known for its Nemesis barrel.  This barrel was designed to specifically work with First Strike rounds (FSR).  They also offer an amazing optic for use with FSR, the Supremacy Scope.  This too was designed specifically for use with FSR. Everything Carmatech produce is geared to precision performance for accuracy in paintball and the Nemesis rifled barrel range is no exception. Every barrel starts as a block of aluminium which is then machined down to a finished product. This ensures the straightest barrel possible and the rifling is Carmatechs own patient screw that is designed to perfectly match the FSR projectile from First Strike.

Description

Carmatech has created the legendary SAR-12 sniper rifle, probably the most precise paintball marker of all time. In order to increase the performance even further, the NEMESIS rifled barrel was developed.

The Carmatech NEMESIS barrel has fields and grooves similar to the very popular barrels of Lapco and Hammerhead, these give the paintball a twist to stabilize the trajectory. Carmatech has taken over this function and improved the run to give paintballs a precision never seen before.

The very good precision is due to the redesign of the fields and moves, so First Strike Paintballs also grip better in the barrel and the twist movement is significantly increased, up to 12,000 revolutions per minute. That is near than twice as much as with Lapco or Hammerhead. Also, the range is enormously increased by the stronger spin

Designed to maximize the performance of SBRs (shaped paintballs), the Nemesis line of barrels come in lengths ranging between eight and forteen inches and accommodate A5 and AC threads. Designed to maximize performance using Carmatech Stable Flight Muzzles; however, the user can use other 7/8-20 threaded tips. All Carmatech barrels are manufactured from forged aluminium for hyper strength and reduced weight (15% reduction). They are then coated in mil-spec black hard coat anodize.
